The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has rescheduled the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 Exam 2025. Earlier, the examination was planned to take place from 13th to 30th August 2025, but now the commission has shifted it to the first week of September 2025. SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2025
- Tier 1:
- Online exam with 100 MCQs for 200 marks.
- Four sections – Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English.
- Time: 60 minutes.
- Negative marking: 0.50 marks per wrong answer.
- Tier 2:
- Divided into multiple papers.
- Paper I is compulsory for all, while Paper II is for JSO aspirants only.

- Reasoning: Series, coding-decoding, puzzles, seating arrangement.
- General Awareness: Current events, history, economy, polity, and science.
